PLOT SUMMARY

Unit HQ is under attack from faceless creatures that appear from nowhere. The Time Lords energy source is being drained and call on The Doctor for help. As he too is under attack and the threat to themselves is so great they call upon his previous selves to help in.

CAPSULE REVIEW

Yes, it's a Pertwee story with the other Doctors just supporting. No, the threat is a new villain who isn't that great. Yes, it's a shame that Hartnell was too ill to contribute and only appear cramped on a TV. No, there are no other companions or villains. Ah, but in 1973 with your Making of Doctor Who Target book, your Radio Times with the super colour cover, the Tenth Anniversary Special and every Doctor who had played the part together on screen it really didn't get any better than this.
