PLOT SUMMARY

The TARDIS arrives in 1794, not far from Paris. The aftermath of the French Revolution has led to a regime of fear od violence. The Doctor and his companions become involved with a group who are smuggling prisoners out of the country to safety and an English undercover officer, James Stirling. The Doctor has a couple of run-ins with Robespierre while Ian and Barbara meet Napoleon Bonaparte.
