AVAILABILITY

Pursuing the North Korean agent that led to his capture and tourture for 14 months, James Bond discovers a plot by renegade North Koreans to invade the south and destroy Japan. He teams up with NSA agent Jinx to investigate - but what does diamond billionaire Gustav Graves and his weather altering Icarus device have to do with the plot?

AVAILABILITY

Die Another Day is still a long way from Bond at his 60s best but its definitely a step in the right direction from The World Is Not Enough. It's Bond, it does exactly what it says on the tin and it does it with one steady eye very firmly on the past. It has something for everyone, except perhaps the most die-hard of Bond sceptics and those fans who are, perhaps, a little too over-critical. It won't change the face of modern film-making and it's a long way from being art, but it's huge fun and has just about everything you could want from a Bond film - fast cars, sexy women, tons of gadgets and a knowing sense of its own ridiculousness. Very loud, very silly and loads of fun. (Full Review - contains spoilers!)
