SUMMARY

Francisco Dellamorte is the caretaker of the cemetery at the amsll Italian town of Buffalora where the dead return to life with monotonous regularity. Dellamorte dutifully destroys the zombie every night, but when he falls in love, his desire for something better grows too strong for him to resist...

CAPSULE REVIEW

Soavi confirms his position as the only viable successor to Argento with this magnificent film, a priceless mix of gore, the darkest comedy and philosophy.
