Jodie has fallen for an older doctor, but her mother disapproves and does her best to stifle any relationship while Beth takes up with a stripper she met at a hen party. Then Jodie starts to see Major Herbert Armstrong, a notorious killer who was executed for murdering his wife. Armstrong and a host of other famous killers, including Dr Crippen and Jack the Ripper are turning up to encourage Jodie to murder her mother.
