PLOT SUMMARY
A group of Egyptologists discover the tomb of
the Egyptian prince Ra. American businessman Alexander King wants
the artifacts and the sarcophagus they find there shipped back to
England and put on display. But the mummy is revived and before long,
those who desecrated the tomb are being slaughtered...
CAPSULE REVIEW
As Hammer's production deals with Columbia and
Universal were coming to an end, some of the characters that gave
the company its greatest success were wheeled out to try to grab some
box office. This was a misfire on all counts. Michael Carreras must
take the blame having produced, written and directed the film. The
usual Mummy revenge scenario is given a lacklustre retelling. Forgettable.
