PLOT SUMMARY
Following the disappearance of three student
film-makers in the Black Woods of Maryland, this "documentary"
pieces together the evidence and tries to determine exactly what happened
to them.
CAPSULE REVIEW
An intriguing fake documentary about a fake
documentary (how post-modern can you get?!) that helps to illuminate
some of the murkier aspects of The
Blair Witch Project (1999). It offers an explanation
of sorts and was so well made that it simply added fuel to the fire
of believability when Blair
Witch opened in the States. In many ways, it's
actually better than the extraordinary feature it's promoting.
