PLOT SUMMARY

A trio of secret agents, Craig Stirling, Sharron Macready and Richard Barrett, working for NEMESIS crash their aircraft in a remote part of the Himalayas. They are found by the strange mystics of a lost city in Tibet and nursed back to health. But when they return to duty, they find that they're different now - they have telepathic and psychic powers, are stronger, more agile and able to endure more physical extremes than others. Together they use their powers to uphold law and justice around the world under the command of their NEMESIS controller, Tremayne.

CAPSULE REVIEW

Another excellent, off-beat spy drama from the ITC stable with an unusual premise, likeable cast and some clever, witty and inventive stories. The opening episode in particular has a spookiness to it that perhaps later episodes lacked, but overall The Champions was a slick, glossy and hugely entertaining addition to ITC's already impressive canon.
