parasite, Elmer, that floods his nervous system with a hallucinogenic
substance that keeps him under control wheile Elmer goes on a killing
spree.
CAPSULE REVIEW
Another very funny and twisted classic from Frank
Henenlotter, a violent but hallucinatory exercise in cinematic dementia.
You can't help but admire Frank Henenlotter. His reactions to fanboy
adulation is commendable and his taste [or lack of it] is impeccable.
He treats the Hollywood system with the contempt it deserves, making
the films he wants, when he wants to and primarily for himself. And
if you don't like his films, it's not going to cause him any sleepless
nights. Definitely a man to be admired. And this is one of his best.
