PLOT SUMMARY
Forensics expert Lincoln
Rhyme is left a quadriplegic following an accident, able
to move only his head and a single finger. He plans to
end it all with the reluctant help of a doctor friend,
but opts to investigate one last case when he hears of a
maniac who is abducting victims in a taxi and murdering
them. Rhyme teams up with a young cop haunted by her
father's suicide who acts as his eyes and feet in the
race to find the killer before he can strike again.
