PLOT SUMMARY

On an isolated island off the Welsh coast at the end of the 1950s, an experimental radar device was tested with disastrous results. Since then, the island and its mutant inhabitants have been locked in a time warp. A group of teenage tourists arrive on the island and encounter a variety of creatures and other supernatural menaces.

CAPSULE REVIEW

Not, it has to be said, Warren's finest hour, this is a sorry tale, directed with a lack of enthusiasm by Warren. Some of the ideas are smart enough (the 'table monster' is a definite first, even for the weird and wacky world of exploitation cinema and the final shot, of the heroine trapped inside a mirror, is pretty effective) but on the whole it's a disappointing swan song for Warren.
