Behind the scenes on the making of Akira (1988), including interviews with Katsuhiro Otomo and many of the others involved in the production of the film.

Something of a disappointment. The interviews aren't terribly revealing, no new footage is revealed and the history of the Akira manga is glossed over fairly quickly. As an extra on a DVD, it's fine, but as a stand-alone piece it's barely adequate.
