PLOT SUMMARYThe slightly unearthly
nun Sister Agnes gives birth to baby which she claims to
be a virgin birth. The baby dies and a struggle ensues
between Mother Superior Miriam Ruth, who wants Agnes to
be left alone, and psychiatrist Dr Martha Livingston who
wants to find out what really happened to Agnes.
